Coconut oil is solid at room temperature and is excellent as a moisturizer and softener for the skin. It is a favorite oil in the manufacture of high quality soap, is a light yellow liquid, white when solid, it has a natural coconut scent. We use it for making soap, making cosmetics, hair preparations and making pies. 
 If taken in hand, it will melt creating a greasy protective barrier on the skin which is absorbed fairly quickly. 
 Do not use on the face if subject to acne. All of our products are for external use only.
